U11 team turned the tide on St. Joseph's when they reversed the result of the U12 final the week before.  Clooney-Quin went to Tulla on Saturday morning to play the neighbours in the U11 final.  This was a tough battle again from start to finish with little between the teams.  Clooney showed great form to battle back from a goal down to score two of their own in the first half with Briana Fennell and Mary Liddy the providers while Niamh McGee solid in the goals.
ClooneyQuin were presented with the U11 shield, with Moya Dunne as captain accepting the shield from Carol Sweeney of the Tulla Camogie club who ran the competition.
The team was. Niamh McGee, Ciara O'Connor, Roisin Keogh, Emer Moynihan, Moya Dunne, Ellie Rochford, Sinead McGee, Mary Liddy, Briana Fennell, Emma Considine. Subs Ciara Halpin for Sinead McGee(inj), Hannah Conneally for Ciara O'Connor, Cliodhna Ryan, Juliette Cantwell, Laura Halpin, Caoimhe Leamy, Rebecca Keane, Lauren Slattery, Elouise De Sousa, Amie Louise Doherty, Kirsty Begg. Missing on the day were Caoimhe McAteer and Roisin Corbett.

U11 Camogie
Fresh from the group stages of the competition and the close encounter of the U12s last Sunday the U11 camoige team will get the chance to try and avenge defeat when they play St. Josephs in the final of the U11 competition  They play St. Joseph's in the final at 11am in Tulla on Saturday morning next.

Clooney-Quin hosted round 2 of the U11 camogie tournament on Monday evening last. Clooney fielded two teams of young camoige players U11 and U10s, with Feakle and Cratloe as visitors. Clooney had very strong displays from both teams and all were especially pleased with the efforts of the U10 girls who played. Clooney team 1 was Amie Louise Doherty, Ciara O'Connor, Rebecca Keane, Cliodhna Ryan, Niamh McGee, Kirsty Begg, Juliet Cantwell, Laura Halpin, Elouise De Sousa, Caoimhe McAteer, Shauna Harran.
These young girls lost narrowly to the more experienced Cratloe and Feakle teams. While the older girls defeated Cratloe and drew with Feakle. Clooney team 2 was Lauren Slattery, Roisin Corbett, Emer Moynihan, Mary Liddy, Ellie Rochford, Sinead McGee, Briana Fennell, Hannah Conneally, Emma Considine, Moya Dunne, Caoimhe Leamy.
In the final game of the evening Clooney mixed their teams and played each other while Feakle played Cratloe.  A great evening of games was had by all. In round 1 Clooney had traveled to Kilmaley where they lost to the hosts but recorded wins over Ballyea and Corofin.  Round 3 is scheduled for next week. Where the girls will travel to Broadford and will play the hosts, Killanena and St. Josephs.
