Best of luck to Aisling Corbett of Clooney when she lines out for Clare in the U18B All-Ireland Final on Saturday.

U12 have three games played in their league and were unlucky to lose in the last minute to Truagh in their third round game.  They play Kilmaley next in Kilmaley.

U16 had a good win in the final round of the group stages over Kilkishen which earned them a semi-final place against Scariff-Ogonnelloe that game was fixed for this Wednesday 17th.

U18 with first round game against Truagh they will play Kilmaley in Kilmaley in round 2 of the championship.

Ciara Grogan and Orlaith Nash were part of the Clare Camogie U14 Development teams that played in the Fr. Higgins Tournament in Galway on Sunday.  The A team there won their Final and B team were unlucky to lose their final. Sinead Considine was also part of the Primary Development Squad that also won their section of the Tournament in Galway.


The U12 team, after their win over St. Joseph's in the opening game of the league, will play Inagh-Kilnamona on Monday evening 6:30 at Clooney field.



The u14 team are continuing preparations for Féile 2013. The club are acting as hosts for Limerick in Division 2 and will host Na Fianna of Meath who they will play in the opening game of Féile on Friday July 5th at Clooney field.  The girls will then travel to Limerick where they will take part in the Parade from the Gaelic grounds to O'Connell Street


The U16 team will play the second game in their league on Wednesday evening 6:30 at Clooney field when they host Feakle.

Primary Game

Clooney-Quin camogie club are delighted that Sinead Considine will be representing the club and her school Dangan N.S. on Sunday when she plays for Clare in the Primary Game in Limerick during the Clare v Cork senior hurling game. Oisin Egan will be representing the club in the boys primary game. We wish all from the club and county well.

County U16.

The club will be represented on the county U16 team Sunday when they play Galway in Feakle. Jessica Leamy and Aoibhean Duggan will be in the team as they open their All-Ireland championship.


The U12 club team will play the opening game of their league on Saturday at 6pm in Gurteen when they play St. Joseph's.

Club U16

The U16 team will open their league campgain on Wednesday next the 26th with an away game in Broadford at 6pm.

Schools Finals.

All schools in the parish will have been represented in the Cumann na mBunscoil finals in Cusack Park.  Quin play Flagmount and Clooney-Dangan play Ogonnelloe in their finals. Best of luck to all girls

Clooney-Quin got their 2011 Under 16A campaign off to a winning start last week when they registered a 6-04 to 0-04 victory over near neighbors St Joseph's at Clooney.The local girls played really well on the evening against the somewhat under-strength visiting side and Clooney, who are looked after by Kelly McClean, Brian Leamy and Ray Ryan, will take on Newmarket-on-Fergus in the next round.

  On a cold and wet Saturday in Gurteen, Clooney Quin won the U16A Camogie Shield final. The final scoreline was Clooney Quin 2-6 Wolfe Tones 1-0.
